Spirals of Light is a gemstone jewelry company that I started in 1994. We specialize in Chakra jewelry, Yoga jewelry, Healing jewelry and sell high quality Crystals and Gemstones. I also teach classes on how to use crystals and gemstones in everyday life as well as offer consultations and crystal readings. Working with stones has been my passion for the past 20 years. I developed my chakra and yoga jewelry lines as a way to help me maintain my own yoga and meditation practice. The Colors Of The Heart
The colors Pink and Green are most often associated with Love and the Heart Chakra. When I designed my line of Gemstone Chakra Bracelets, I chose the stones Green Aventurine and Pink Rose Quartz to create a Heart opening and balancing chakra bracelet.

Lotus Flowers And The Chakras
I love creating jewelry with the lotus flower.
Lotus flowers are associated with the 7 main Chakra energy centers. Each Chakra has a different shape lotus flower. I found these wonderful sterling silver charms with the lotus flower of each chakra on one side and the name of the chakra on the other side. The first Chakra, located at the base of the spine is called the Root Chakra or Muladhara chakra.The first chakra is symbolized by a lotus flower with four petals, and its shape is triangular.

Balancing the Chakras with Gemstones and Flower Essences
I attended a workshop on the healing power of flower essences and the chakra energy system this weekend with Rhonda PallasDowney, the author of ” The Healing Power of Flowers”.
Rhonda shared wonderful information on seven different flower essences, their healing qualities and how they relate to balancing the chakra energy system.
I’ve used flower essences over the years and even make my own flower essences using the flowers that grow here in Colorado as well as those in my yard in the Florida Keys. Spending time with the flowers, getting to know their energies and “listening” to them brings me out into nature and strengthens my connection to Mother Earth.
It was fun for me to relate this information on the flower essences to the chakra energy system and extend that information into the world of gemstones. I’ve been teaching classes on the healing power of gemstones and the chakras for many years now and my gemstone jewelry chakra designs incorporates this information. Chakra Bracelets for Omega Institute
I just sent off an order of Chakra Bracelets to the world famous Omega Institute for Holistic Studies in Rhinebeck New York. If you don’t know about Omega I think you should. They are a nonprofit organization that specializes in teaching workshops, retreats and conferences on all areas of wellness and personal growth. They offer classes at their NY campus from April through October with world renown teachers. Workshops in Yoga, Massage, Energy Healing, Spiritual Practices, Art, Music, Sustainable Living and so much more. With teachers like Neale Donald Walsch, Shiva Rea, Rodney Yee, Alex Grey, Caroline Myss, there is something for everyone at Omega. The campus is in a beautiful rural setting in upstate New York with a bookstore that sells my gemstone Chakra Bracelets.
I have eight different gemstone Chakra Bracelets that correspond to the Chakra Energy System. Each Chakra Bracelet has a different color pattern and uses genuine gemstones to help balance the chakras. I hand make each bracelet, one at a time with love and healing. Ideas for new Yoga and Chakra Jewelry
As I unpack all the wonderful gems, crystals and beads I purchased at the trade show this past weekend, new jewelry designs flow through my head. I’ve been wanting to add some new designs to the Yoga jewelry line. Now I have some incredible new beads and pendants to work with.
Its always so much fun to bring these gifts from Mother Earth home. I can now take my time, look over these semi-precious jewels, feel their energies and put them into healing jewelry designs.
I also purchased some stones brand new to my healing gemstone collection. These will be introduced at my next crystal and gemstone class.
I stocked up on more Selenite wands. These are so smooth to the touch. I enjoy holding them because they can melt away any negativity I am carrying around. Not only did I find Selenite wands, I purchased Selenite in its many different forms. >> Continue reading

Peaceful Larimar
I received a massage yesterday. As I was laying on the massage table, feeling all the tight and tense spots my therapist was hitting I started remembering all the busyness I have been involved in over the past 2 months. Wow, it all came rushing past my mind. All the activity, all the doing, it was exhausting. This wasn’t what I wanted to be thinking about during my massage! Working with my breath to get past the soreness in my body, I began to relax more and more. I stayed focused on my breathing the same way I do during meditation, letting all the busyness float through my mind, instead of re- living it. Towards the end of the massage I really could feel a sense of peace within my body and my mind was much calmer. It felt so delicious. >> Continue reading
