Chakra Gemstone Bracelet

Selenite Castle

As I unpack all the wonderful gems, crystals and beads I purchased at the trade show this past weekend, new jewelry designs flow through my head. I’ve been wanting to add some new designs to the Yoga jewelry line. Now I have some incredible new beads and pendants to work with.
Its always so much fun to bring these gifts from Mother Earth home. I can now take my time, look over these semi-precious jewels, feel their energies and put them into healing jewelry designs.
I also purchased some stones brand new to my healing gemstone collection. These will be introduced at my next crystal and gemstone class.
I stocked up on more Selenite wands. These are so smooth to the touch. I enjoy holding them because they can melt away any negativity I am carrying around. Not only did I find Selenite wands, I purchased Selenite in its  many different forms. A beautiful Selenite castle weighing over 8 pounds, is carved from the inside so that a night light can be put into it. What a glow this one gives out. It reminds me of the Rocky Mountains near where I live in Colorado. (For more information on Selenite go to my Web site) New for me is a stone called Petalite. While I’ve seen this stone over the years I never purchased it in its smooth tumbled form before. Placing the round stones into the display basket, I became mesmerized by them. Each one calling me to look deeper. What other messages will they share with me? Bringing new stones to my customers keeps this business fun and exciting. Now back to more unpacking!

I received a massage yesterday. As I was laying on the massage table, feeling all the tight and tense spots my therapist was hitting I started remembering all the busyness I have been involved in over the past 2 months. Wow, it all came rushing past my mind. All the activity, all the doing, it was exhausting. This wasn’t what I wanted to be thinking about during my massage! Working with my breath to get past the soreness in my body, I began to relax more and more. I stayed focused on my breathing the same way I do during meditation, letting all the busyness float through my mind, instead of re- living it. Towards the end of the massage I really could feel a sense of peace within my body and my mind was much calmer. It felt so delicious. As I climbed off the massage table I felt the urge to find a gemstone that would offer me this same calm, peaceful feeling. Later that night, after dinner I started looking through some necklaces I had created over the last several months. My “show” necklaces. These are pieces of jewelry that are not yet on my web site, but are displayed when am I at art shows, and metaphysical shows. As soon as I came upon two Larimar necklaces I stopped. Picking them up I instantly began to connect to the peaceful feeling I had during my massage. I love the soft blue colors of Larimar and have always felt its peaceful and serene energies. I describe Larimar as the “stone of peace” because it offers such a peaceful vibration. You know the feeling, like when you are laying down on the ground, looking up at the sky, just watching the clouds pass you by. Watching the clouds drift and form and re-form shapes, some recognizable others abstract. No where to go, just laying back and cloud watching. That is the feeling I get from Larimar. Placing one of the necklaces around my neck, I was instantly brought back to my massage earlier in the day. I can’t take the necklace off, even today, it offers me the calm and peace I want to feel after a busy Holiday season. Peaceful Larimar, so calming. I might just have to go off to the beach and watch some clouds…..

I feel like one of Santa’s Elves,spending these December days in my work studio creating jewelry just as fast as I can, filling all the wonderful orders I am getting through my web site.
I individually create each piece of jewelry, take its picture and post it on the web site.Then its on to processing the orders and shipping. Whew, it maybe time to hire some elves to help! I have a lot to be thankful for. With all this talk about the economy, I am especially thankful for all the orders I am getting. Sales are up this year! I was recently asked by a customer, “How do I choose a chakra bracelet. I’ve read through the descriptions and feel I need all of them, which one is best for me?”Sometimes the answer is our Chakra Stones bracelet. This bracelet covers all the chakras and helps balance each energy center. But, often if we just take a minute to tune into ourselves center, take in a few deep breaths we can discern for ourselves which chakra is calling out for balancing. If you feel drawn to a color this can be an indication. Are you finding yourself wearing more blues or greens? Do you go to your clothes closet pick out a piece of clothing, only to put it back and choose something totally different than what you had planned? This can be a indicator.
