In this Crystal Blog, I’m sharing with you an email one of my Crystal Students recently shared with me. This is the story of a Mother who is learning how to use crystals and stones in her everyday life with her two young children and her husband. I hope it will be an inspiration to you who read this and offer encouragement on using crystals for healing with Kids.
“Dear Debra,
I felt inspired to share with you another crystal healing experience I had with my 8 year old son He typically disregards my spiritual nature and inclinations but when he is ill, naturally, he allows me to do my work. Yesterday I relieved his nausea and discomfort with Carnelian and Hematite. I’m learning which stones work for our family and how to use them for healing.
My son was in great physical discomfort and suffering with stomach cramps and nausea.
I began by centering myself with some yoga, and breathing exercises to put me into a state of presence and compassion for him.
I than reviewed the collection of crystals I had on hand. I was instantly drawn to use Carnelian and Hematite.
I brought these two stones to my son and together we made an intention for healing and relief from his discomfort. I added some essential oils, herbal tea and started doing some breathwork with him as I massaged him. This process only lasted about 5 minutes. Soon after he become uplifted, and felt relief. His cramping subsided. He continued to hold the crystals for the next hour as he rested and relaxed for the first time in several hours.
After this short period of time, he was back to himself, fully functioning at his normal pace of activity and engaging in his day. He was well enough to invite a friend over for games. After taking it easy for a while, he asked if he could go outside and I saw him trying to stuff the large Carnelian and Hematite into his small pockets to bring along with him. 
It is so wonderful to watch him open up to these natural crystal healing methods.
I even asked him “Am I making you a believer”? He just smiled and said “maybe” which is his version of YES!
I offered him some pocket-size stones that he could more easily transport and he gratefully accepted them. This is truly the first time I have seen him honor the crystal healing experience offered to him and I am so grateful for this simply because it brought TRUST to both of our lives. I needed validation that my crystal healing works (it brings inspiration and motivation) and he needed to know that too! I have been keeping track of my healing experiences using different crystals for different things and I hope this helps bring me insight and continues to instill trust into my decisions/choices.
