These yoga inspired jewelry designs were created through my own need to develop and maintain a daily yoga and meditation practice. So often in my life I would drift away from a daily form of spiritual work only to find myself more scattered and stressed. Slowly, I began to incorporate ancient symbolic pendants into my gemstone jewelry designs. In my own life, I find that wearing these healing gemstones and ancient symbols helps bring the benefits of my practice into the rest of my day.

“Salute to the Sun” – Amber & Tibetan Bead Necklace

This Amber and Tibetan bead necklace was inspired by the Sun Salutation yoga exercise. This flowing series of poses is one of my favorites. On days when I don't have time to do my full yoga practice I can always fit in a few rounds of Sun Salutation. 

I chose  Amber for this necklace as Amber represents the Sun in all its vibrancy.  Just as sun salutation is a warm up to the rest of the Yoga poses,  Amber is a warming energy  Just as the sun salutation builds strength and stamina so does the energy of Amber.   An Amber Tibetan bead pendant with a silver design hangs in the center of this Yoga inspired necklace.  Four oval Amber Tibetan beads bring balance to the Amber and sterling silver beads.  Sterling Silver Hook & Eye Clasp.

Amber - Amber is actually fossilized botanical resin, (mostly tree sap) Amber helps us connect to the Light. It brings us warm, nurturing energy. Garnet Prayer Wheel Necklace

This 1 1/2in sterling silver prayer wheel is a beautifully detailed replica of the larger Tibetan Prayer wheels used to recite prayers and mantras.
