These yoga inspired jewelry designs were created through my own need to develop and maintain a daily yoga and meditation practice. So often in my life I would drift away from a daily form of spiritual work only to find myself more scattered and stressed. Slowly, I began to incorporate ancient symbolic pendants into my gemstone jewelry designs. In my own life, I find that wearing these healing gemstones and ancient symbols helps bring the benefits of my practice into the rest of my day.

This necklace was inspired by Heart Opening yoga poses. Recently I was doing a heart opening Yoga pose called the camel. Reaching back to touch my feet, I could feel the stretch in my body and began to focus on the healing energies of pink Tourmaline. When my yoga practice was finished I went to my bead box and found this stunning Tourmaline pendant. Its made with a beautiful oval pink Tourmaline set in sterling silver.
