Crystals and gemstones can help you stay calm, centered and focused during stressful times of year. Here are some ways to use Gemstones to help you stay in calm, centered and focused.
1. Stay focused. We lose so much of our energy when we aren’t clear and focused on the project at hand. Instead of multi-tasking, give yourself the joy of focused attention. If you are having trouble staying focused, try using a Hematite.
Hematite is know as a grounding stone. Its also a stone to calm the mind. It can help us to sort things out and calm the racing mind. It helps with memory retention and is useful while writing. (Silver color stone)
2. Ask for help. Sometimes just simply letting others know you need assistance in all that you do can relieve the pressure and feelings of doing too much. If you are having trouble speaking up and asking for help, reach for the blue gemstone, Sodalite. Sodalite can help you gently and calmly speak “your truth“, that is to come from you heart and express your needs to others, before frustration grabs a hold of you. 3. Rest. Make sure you are getting the correct amount of sleep that your body needs. It’s easy to fall into erratic sleeping patterns when life gets stressful. 4. Remember to Breath. When you catch yourself holding your breath in stressful situations, remember to take a few deep breaths. Nirvana Quartz (Ice Crystal)
On my buying trip in September 2007, I discovered a new gemstone call Nirvana Quartz, sometimes called Ice Crystal. I haven't been this excited by a new stone in a long, long time. The energy coming from these stones is very powerful. Even those who normally don't feel "crystal energy" have responded while holding Nirvana Quartz. Recently discovered in 2004, Nirvana Quartz is found in the Himalayan mountainsof India (Kullu Valley) at altitudes over 18,000 ft. where glaciers are receding due to global warming. Shamanite – Black Calcite

Shamanite was recently discovered (2005) on privately-owned remote alpine property in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. It is said to be over 540 million years old and contains many trace minerals and micro-fossils.

Green Zincite Crystals from Poland

I was very fortunate to acquire some rare Zincite crystals from a collector who was ready to sell his collection of green Zincite from Poland. These are incredibly beautiful Zincite crystals some with perfect terminations.
Zincite is a very rare and powerful crystal. Robert Simmons tells us, "Zincite can stimulate the three lower chakras enhancing one’s life force, courage, passion, creativity, personal power and will. Once the lower chakras are activated Zincite’s energy moves on to the upper chakras carrying the awakened energies of the lower three. Hanksite
|
On a recent buying trip I was able to locate several large Crystals of Hanksite. Hanksite is a potassium sulfate mineral that is found in salt lakes of California. Hanksite is water soluble and must be kept dry or it will deteriorate and dissolve in moisture.
Hanksite has a purifying energy and because it is one of the salt minerals it is wonderful for pulling out impurities and toxins in the environment and body. It can clear a room where there is disharmonious energy. It would a good stone to place in a healing room to keep the energy clear and purified. It supports the elimination of emotional and psychic toxins. I put mineral oil on the Hanksite Crystals to keep them from dissolving.

Lemurian Quartz Crystal – Healing Tool
