Spirals of Light is a gemstone jewelry company that I started in 1994. We specialize in Chakra jewelry, Yoga jewelry, Healing jewelry and sell high quality Crystals and Gemstones. I also teach classes on how to use crystals and gemstones in everyday life as well as offer consultations and crystal readings. Working with stones has been my passion for the past 20 years. I developed my chakra and yoga jewelry lines as a way to help me maintain my own yoga and meditation practice. I started this blog as a way to continue my exploration into the world of Crystals, Gemstones, Chakras, Yoga, Meditation & Spiritual Awakening. I hope you will join me in this discovery.

The Good Vibrations of Larimar
When I think of one stone that represents the feelings of summer its Larimar. Larimar is the quintessential summer gemstone. Remember those times when you were a kid, with nothing to do on a hot summer’s day? You’d lay on the freshly mowed lawn and look up at the sky. Hours could pass as you watched the clouds roll by, imagining the puffy white shapes to be all sorts of creatures. There you are without a care in the world, no concerns about time, just being, in the present moment. That’s the vibrational quality of Larimar.
Larimar is a stone of peaceful tranquility. Its a very soothing and serene stone. Larimar’s energy is calming. It can help reduce excessive fear or anger with its cooling energies. Relaxation is one of the benefits of Larimar. If you can’t go lay in the hammock with a good book and tall glass of ice tea this summer, try holding a piece of Larimar for the same soothing relief.

Healing Crystals & Dancing Dolphins Workshop
I am so excited about teaching a crystal class on the water with the dolphins. This has long been a dream of mine to bring people out into a natural setting with the dolphins. I am so pleased to be working with Capt. Victoria on this next class on April 17, 2011.
This is sure to be a magical day on the water with Healing Crystals & Dancing Dolphins. We’ll explore the world of Crystals & Gemstones aboard the IMP II, a comfortable, shaded 25-ft. powerboat. We’ll be guided by Capt. Victoria of Dancing Dolphin Spirit Charters. She will bring us to a shallow, protected area where the healing electromagnetic field of the dolphins can be felt. We will glide over peaceful, serene waters. Snorkel the shallow coral and visit the dolphins colorful friends in their watery playground. Picnic on a tropical mangrove island with beautiful birds and natural beaches. Together we’ll experience the healing energies of the stones and offer that energy to the waters. >> Continue reading

Tips on how to connect to the goddess within
Crystals, Gemstones and Goddess Jewelry
I love creating Goddess jewelry. I am always on the look out for goddess pendants to use in my goddess necklaces. I enjoy working with gemstones that are associated with the goddess and the energies of the sacred divine feminine.
Some of my favorite goddess stones are:
- Moonstone- It is associated with the feminine and is called “The Goddess Stone”. It can enhance the intuitive side of the mind. Moonstone has been used to connect with the energy and power of the moon.
- Amazonite- It offers us a place of quiet compassion. It encourages us to release self judgment and connect to our own power with joy and confidence. It is an empowering stone and can provide inner fulfillment when we recognize the power we hold within.
- Garnet- Is known as a feminine energy stone. It stimulates the root chakra and the heart, allowing for manifestation of one’s heart felt desires in the world.
