I also teach classes on how to use crystals and gemstones in everyday life as well as offer consultations and crystal readings. Working with stones has been my passion for the past 20 years. I developed my chakra and yoga jewelry lines as a way to help me maintain my own yoga and meditation practice. New Quartz Crystal Collection
Well, I’ve done it again! I just acquired a collection of crystals and stones from a private collector. Buying stones from a private collector is much different than buying stones from professional dealers. Dealers carry great quantities of stones and selection, but the stones aren’t always good quality. Often I will look at hundreds of stones before I make a purchase because the quality and energy vibration just isn’t up to my standard. Prices from dealers are at current market rate which always seems to go higher and higher each year.
The benefits from buying crystals from a private collector is that each stone is hand picked one at a time, rather than bulk purchasing. Many dealers buy barrels of stones at a time. Literally tons of rocks to get their best price.

Healing Crystals & Dancing Dolphins Workshop
I am so excited about teaching a crystal class on the water with the dolphins. This has long been a dream of mine to bring people out into a natural setting with the dolphins. I am so pleased to be working with Capt. Victoria on this next class on April 17, 2011.
This is sure to be a magical day on the water with Healing Crystals & Dancing Dolphins. We’ll explore the world of Crystals & Gemstones aboard the IMP II, a comfortable, shaded 25-ft. powerboat. We’ll be guided by Capt. Victoria of Dancing Dolphin Spirit Charters. She will bring us to a shallow, protected area where the healing electromagnetic field of the dolphins can be felt. We will glide over peaceful, serene waters. Snorkel the shallow coral and visit the dolphins colorful friends in their watery playground. Awakening on the Spiritual Path with Crystals & Stones
I went to Vermont in May to attend the Stones of the New Consciousness: Healing, Awakening and Co- creating with Crystals, Minerals and Gems. The conference was led by Robert Simmons author of “The Book of Stones” which in the field of Crystals is now considered the “must- have” book on learning about the metaphysical properties of gemstones.
This conference however went much further into the exploration of our relationship with the stones. I’ve been trying now for almost 2 weeks to put into words my experiences of this intensive workshop. What I’ve recently come to realize is, my difficulty in finding the words to describe what I learned at the 4 day seminar is beacuse this conference was more of an experience rather than “learning”. How To Choose Gemstones To Help Set Intention For The New Year
The power of this New Years Eve full moon/blue moon, can help us to get clear and focus on what we want to bring into our lives for the New Year. What a great opportunity we have this Thursday.
Full moon is a great time to energetically clear and cleanse your crystals and gemstones.The energy of the moonlight washes away anything that is no longer needed. I like to leave my stones out all night and into the next day so they can be charged by the light of the sun. The day before the full moon and the day after are also acceptable times to cleanse your stones. You can place them directly on the ground or put them on a soft cloth and lay them on a table where the moonlight will shine brightly onto the stones. Shamanite: A Newly Discovered Stone
Shamanite is a rare Black Calcite from the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. I was first introduced to Shamanite by my friend Charlie Mark from Florida of Mountain Mark Trading. Charlie is the world distributor for North American Black Calcite now known as Shamanite. I have been buying stones from Charlie for more than 16 years. Charlie is a distributor for the beautiful blue gemstone Larimar. So when Charlie contacted me that he would be selling the Shamanite at this years Denver Gem & Mineral show, I made sure I visited his booth and purchased a few rough polished pieces he had for sale.
Shamanite was recently discovered (2005) on privately-owned remote alpine property in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. After a year of geological research, this is now the only known deposit throughout the entire Rocky Mountain range and North America. >> Continue reading
