Winter Solstice 2008

web-photosHappy Solstice!
Solstice is Sunday 12/21/08, 7:04 am EST.

I celebrate this longest night of the year by remembering that we have come through the darkest part of the year and now the light will be returning, yeah to longer days. Winter Solstice represents the dark but it also represents new beginnings and hope for the future. I will take some time out today to sit and reflect on the year passing. I will light a candle and as I light it I know that I am planting the seeds for the new year. What is it that I would like to welcome in to my life? What would I like to see manifest in 2009? Hmmm, lots to ponder about there….for me, for those I care about, for the world in which I live, peace, love, harmony, joy and much abundance! AND gratitude for all that is already abundant in my life.

I invite you to connect to that place of knowing that all things are possible. In the moment of darkness, the light, as always, is born again.
