Hi, I have a similar problem as Christina, except I have cleased my rose quartz, with sea salt as well as with prayer. My problem is that I get a feeling of anxiety and nervousness when I place the rose quartz between my breast and a feeling of heart burn and compression when I place it against my spine (in the heart area). The most peculiar part is that it doesn't always happen immediately, but may happen a few hours afterwards. I'm pretty confident that it's from the rose quartz because this never happens to me when I don't wear the rose quartz. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

A friend of mine recently gave me a Rose Quartz Heart to place in my SW corner of my bedroom. Before bringing it home, I placed it in my pocket. It fell out, and chipped. Didn't break. Ironically, I am going through a very rough time with a man I am involved with - long distance, military, non-commital - you name it. I couldn't help but notice the "signs" of the broken heart, and of course, the reflection of the stone as my own hurt/wounded heart. So, do I place the broken heart in the corner in an effort to have it mend, or try to get a new one. Help!

Christina,
Rose Quartz offers a gentle energy, so I am surprised that you are having difficulty wearing it. Have you energetically cleansed the necklace? See my blog post on How to Cleanse Crystals & Gemstones for info on how to do that. http://www.spiralsoflight.com/crystalblog/gemstones/how-to-cleanse-crystals-gemstones/
Once you have cleansed the necklace try wearing it for short periods of time, knowing that Rose Quartz is assisting you in opening your heart to receive love. Release the old pain held there. Start with loving yourself!
Thanks & blessings,
Debra

Hi, I just wondered if you could offer me some help? I have an amethyst crystal necklace that I regularly wear which is great for me. I also have a rose quartz crystal that whenever I wear, my heart seems to ache - like a physical pain - I was wondering can rose quartz be too much for the wear or is it a releasing of pain? If you can offer me any help, I would really appreciate it. Have a lovely day.
