I also teach classes on how to use crystals and gemstones in everyday life as well as offer consultations and crystal readings. Working with stones has been my passion for the past 20 years. I developed my chakra and yoga jewelry lines as a way to help me maintain my own yoga and meditation practice. Moldavite, A Stone Of Transformation
Out of all the different gemstones I have worked with over the past 20 years, Moldavite is the one that has shown me the most dramatic responses from those who hold it. I have witness many first time encounters with Moldavite. What I have noticed when someone is new to the energies of Moldavite is a strong reaction to the stone. Sometimes to the point of the person throwing the stone down as if they can no longer be near its vibration. Sometimes the opposite happens and a person can not let go of the stone because it feels so good, so familiar. Rarely is there no response from Moldavite. One of the more common responses from someone who holds Moldavite for the first time is the experience of warmth or heat, usually felt in the hand then felt throughout the body like a wave.
The Good Vibrations of Larimar
When I think of one stone that represents the feelings of summer its Larimar. Larimar is the quintessential summer gemstone. Remember those times when you were a kid, with nothing to do on a hot summer’s day? You’d lay on the freshly mowed lawn and look up at the sky. Hours could pass as you watched the clouds roll by, imagining the puffy white shapes to be all sorts of creatures. There you are without a care in the world, no concerns about time, just being, in the present moment. That’s the vibrational quality of Larimar.

Aqua Aura- A Dolphin Stone
While I don’t normally work with color-enhanced stones, I’ve come to be very fond of Aqua Aura. Not only is its color mesmerizing, so is its energy. Aqua Aura is created by taking quartz crystals and infusing them with a pure Gold powder. This special treatment process bonds the surface of the crystal with the vaporized Gold creating the vivid blue color of Aqua Aura. This process is a fusion of nature and science. Atantisite- A Stone for Earth Healing
I recently returned from my biggest buying trip of the year. I spent several days shopping for gems, beads and stones at the International Denver Gemshow. Every year a new stone catches my eye. This year one of the new stones that made its way back with me was Atlantisite. While it wasn’t exactly new to me, I had seen it at other shows, this was the year I couldn’t pass it up. I never really know why a particular stone will call out to me at these shows. But I have learned to listen. Sometimes it’s the energy I am personally needing and other times the stone is meant for someone else. In this case, I just can’t put this extraordinary stone down. I am really drawn to this one.

Fuchsite Connects Us To The Nature Spirits
Fuchsite, a sparkly Heart Chakra Stone is closely connected to the Nature Spirits and Fairy Realm. After holding raw, unpolished Fuchsite you will be left with “fairy dust” in your hand. These small particles of Fuchsite closely resemble mica, because Fuchsite is a form of Mica or Muscovite. It gets its green color from the mineral Chromium.
